Getting here - Oura Praia Hotel

The easiest way to get from Faro airport to Albufeira is by car. There are a number of taxi’s and car hire firms based at the airport. We can also arrange transfers for you. Please find directions by car below.

Alternatively, buses run to and from Faro airport to Faro town (these are free if you display a valid airport ticket) from 7am to 8pm. These run every half an hour and take approximately 20 minutes. Once in Faro, you can take a bus or a train to Albufeira. Buses to Albufeira from Faro bus terminal run every two hours from 7am - 6pm, taking approximately 40 minutes and costing around €5 per person. A second class train ticket from Faro to Albufeira will cost the same as the bus ticket. Trains run every 30-60minutes and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Times stated here may vary. Directions to Oura Praia Hotel by Car

47.8 km - approx’ 42 minutes

From Faro Airport, head towards the N125-10.

When on the N125-10, follow signs to Portimão/Loulé/Lisboa.

You will merge onto the IC4.

After 4.9km, you’ll turn onto the Estr. IC4/IC4.

Follow the signs to Albufeira/Portimão/Lisboa and you’ll end up on the A22.

Take exit 9 of the A22, signposted Albufeira/Guia.

You’ll now be on the Estr. IC1/IC1.

Follow the signs to Albufeira/Ferreira and the IC1 Acessos/N125.

Continue on the N125 for 0.6 km and take the ramp.

At the first roundabout, take the 1st exit onto N395.

Go straight on at the second roundabout.

At the third roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Av. Dos Descobrimentos.

Go straight on at the next three roundabouts.

After 9m, turn right and continue on to the R. Camilo Castelo Branco.

Turn left at Aldeia Turística das Areias de São João.

After 89m, you’ll need to take a right. You should still be on the Aldeia Turística das Areias de São João. Oura Praia Hotel should be 36m up on your left.
